Recently, Kraft Foods has decided to discontinue DVPG’s rebate program effective June 30th. This program accounts for thousands of rebate dollars to our members. We must not sit idly by as manufactures decide they no longer wish to support our group. Kraft feels that they are better off offering our members rebates directly. This IS NOT the direction of our Group. If you are visited by a Kraft representative DO NOT sign an incentive agreement. Explain to the Kraft representative that you are a member of DVPG and you are not interested in making “your own deal”. Inform them that if Kraft would like your business they have to deal with DVPG.

We are working diligently on having this program reinstated and our membership must stick together and show Kraft that we will not allow them to circumvent the group to pick and choose which members they will offer rebates to. If Kraft is successful in retaining the business that they currently have with DVPG while dropping their rebate support, this could lead to other manufactures doing the same. DVPG rebated over $600,000.00 in manufacturer rebates in 2009 to its members, WE MUST TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY in order to keep this rebates from dwindling.
